Tune into Traffic is dedicated and comitted to ensuring that the young people of today are aware of new dangers that our changing world poses.
Our Earphone Campaign was the first issue that we addressed when initiating Tune into Traffic. After extensive consulation with young peole, we found that neary 75% of young people admitted to listening to music while crossing the road. 70% of those young people expressed that they didn't realize that this was dangerous but agree that while listening to music on the road, this is a danger to their lives.
In our ever changing world, technology is forever moving and changing. The past 50 years has seen a massive increase in advancing technology and now nearly every young person owns an MP3 player.
You can look around while commuting, either on the road, public transport or while walking to wherever you are heading, millions of young people are enjoying music on the go. As much fun and joy our music gives us, there are also serious dangers this poses. The advancement of technology brings new dangers, listening to music on the road is dangerous.
